Denmark Open 2024: Putri KW To Quarter Finals, Two Other Representatives Fall

Putri KW stepped into the quarter-finals of the Denmark Open 2024 (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA The women's singles badminton player Kusuma Wardani penetrated the quarter-finals of the Denmark Open 2024.

He got tickets thanks to the victory of two straight games, 21-11 and 21-15, over the women's singles from ChinA Taipei, Sung Shuo Yun, on Thursday, October 17, 2024, evening WIB.

This result also makes Putri again superior head-to-head with Sung to 3-2.

Previously, Putri won their first clash in 2018 and her previous last meeting at the Hong Kong Open 2024.

Meanwhile, in another match, Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana and Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati could not follow in the footsteps of Putri KW.

Leo/Bagas were eliminated in the second half after being beaten by the first seed from China, Liang Wei Yekong/Wang Chang two straight games, 17-21 and 18-21.

Rehan/Lisa were repatriated by the fourth seed from Hong Kong, Tang Chun Man/Tse Ying Suet in a rubber game, 16-21, 21-18, and 16-21.
