Bayern Munich And Harry Kane Set A Record When Beaching Dinamo Zagreb 9-2

Bayern Munich set a record when slaughtering Dinamo Zagreb 9-2 in the Champions League match at the Allianz Arena Stadium, Wednesday, September 18, 2024 in the morning WIB. Striker Harry Kane, who bought four goals, also set a record.

Bayern appeared with full power when they beat Dinamo Zagreb. Despite having faced resistance, especially after the Croatian club scored two goals to change the score to 3-2, Madrid showed their dominance.

Even in the second half, the German Bundesliga giant managed six times to break into the opponent's goal. This made Bayern the first club in Champions League history to win nine goals in one game.

Not only that, Kane, who has grown sharper since leaving Tottenham Hotspur to play in Germany, has also set a record. Kane became the England player who scored the most goals in European competition after scoring 33 goals.

Meanwhile, veteran Thomas Muller broke the record for playing 152 times for one club in the Champions League. Muller surpassed Xavi Hernandez's record for playing 151 with Barcelona.

Bayern's brilliant achievements when starting the competition this season seemed to erase doubts and a pessimistic attitude towards coach Vincent Kompany.

How could I not, Bayern was criticized for recruiting Kompany, who still lacks training experience. Moreover, the last time Kompany only handled a club like Burnley that was relegated and this season played in the British Championship Division.

But Kompany proved his performance. He took Bayern to the top of the German Bundesliga standings. The former Manchester City defender and the Belgian national team also led FC Hollywood to a big win in the first match of the Champions League.

In that match, Bayern only had difficulties before the 20th minute. Because they faced Dinamo Zagreb who chose to stay by placing five defenders. The opposing team used a 5-3-2 formation to withstand the host's bumpy attack.

Only their efforts were in vain. Kane finally opened Die Bayern's tap through the penalty spot in the 19th minute. Penalti was awarded after defender Ronael Pierre-Gabriel brought down Aleksandar Pavlovic midfielder in the restricted area. Referee Juan Martinez briefly reviewed the incident via VAR before pointing to the spot.

Kane also completed the execution well. The goal increased the adrenaline of Bayern players. Not long after, defender Raphael Guerreiro increased Bayern's advantage.

He broke into the opponent's goal in the 33rd minute. And, five minutes later, Michael Olise scored the first goal for his team which changed the score to 3-0. The score lasted until the first half was over.

Entering the second half, Dinamo Zagreb tried to get up. Their aggressive game surprised Bayern. Just four minutes into the game, Dinamo Zagreb managed to catch up through Croatian striker Bruno Petkovic.

Even one minute later, Japanese midfielder Takuya Ogiwara was able to change the score to 3-2. However, after that goal Dinamo Zagreb could not maintain his performance.

Kane scored his second goal which increased Bayern's lead to 4-2 in the 57th minute. Not long after or to be precise in the 61st minute, it was Olise's turn to make a brace.

The 5-2 advantage made Bayern unstoppable again. Kane bought up two more goals in just five minutes. Both goals were scored from the penalty spot.

Next, Leroy Sane added a goal in the 85th minute. Substitute Leon Goretzka closed Bayern's goal party in the injury time minute. The score became 9-2 for Bayern and lasted until the game was over.
