JAKARTA Persija Jakarta managed to secure maximum points when they met Barito Putera in the first week of the Indonesian League 1 season of the 2024/2025 competition.

The Kemayoran Tigers, who acted as hosts, crushed their opponents 3-0 at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), North Jakarta, on Saturday, August 10 evening WIB.

All goals from Persija Jakarta against the opponent were scored by Gustavo Almeida. The Brazilian scored one goal in the first half and the remaining two in the second half. Gustavo opened his hat trick in this match in the 11th minute. He broke the ball after maximizing his partner Riko Simanjuntak's pass.

He then scored his second goal in the 71st minute with a penalty. The 28-year-old has the confidence to be the executor after the opposing player made a handball in the penalty box.
