Fadil Imran Participates In Nominating Himself As General Chair Of PBSI

Fadil Imran is running for the chairman of PBSI (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA Muhammad Fadil Imran has officially registered as a candidate for chairman of PBSI.

The figure who currently serves as the Secretary General of PBSI submitted the nomination file on the first day of registration opening, Thursday, July 18, 2024.

"Today we received a letter of support from 35 PBSI Provincial Management (Pengprov). They all support and submit a statement of support to Mr. Fadil Imran," said Head of the Penjaringan Team, Edi Sukarno.

The budgeting file along with a support letter from Pengrpov was handed over to the screening team through its attorney, Chikitha Alvian Eka Wardoyo.

Registration with the administrative requirements file will then be examined by the screening team to adapt it to the Organizational Regulation (PO) No. 001/2018.

If everything is appropriate then Fadil Imran automatically has the legality to run as a candidate for chairman of PBSI for the 2024-2028 term of service.

Edi said that the amount of support was far beyond the minimum nomination requirement. If referring to PO No. 001/2018, someone can nominate it if at least they have the support of 10 PBSI Pengprov.

"With that much support, Pak Fadil Imran only needs a kind of legality to occupy the position of General Chairperson of PP PBSI 2024-2028," he said.

The 2024 PBSI National Conference (Munas) will take place in Surabaya on 9-11 August 2024. One of the agendas is the selection of the new PBSI captain for the term of service until 2028.
