Arbi Aditama Will Appear In Moto3 Catalunya 2024

JAKARTA Indonesia's young racer, Fadillah Arbi Aditama, got the opportunity to appear in Moto3 Catalunya 2024 which was held this weekend.

The 2024 Catalunya Moto3 will be held at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Spain, on Sunday, May 26, 2024. This is the first opportunity for Arbi to race Moto3 in Europe.

"I am very happy with the opportunity to become a Moto3 World Championship rider in Catalunya," said Arbi as quoted by Astra Honda's official website.

"I was injured and went through two rounds of racing at the FIM JuniorGP. However, I am grateful to be able to take part in the next race in Catalunya," said the rider.

Arbi had the opportunity to appear in Catalunya with wildcard facilities. He took part in the event with Team Honda Asia.

The Catalunya series race is Arbi's second chance to participate as a wildcard in the Moto3 World Championship. Previously, last year he also competed as a wildcard on the Mandalika circuit.

"I will try my best to make Indonesia proud at the Catalunya Grand Prix," said Arbi.

The racer who graduated from Astra Honda Racing School (AHRS) has a good record at the Catalunya Circuit. Last year, he managed to climb the first podium while competing at the FIM JuniorGP.

Arbi, who is currently competing in the FIM JuniorGP, is the 2019 Astra Honda Racing School dropout. He started his international racing career at the Asia Talent Cup in the 2021 season when he was 15 years old.

A promising potential makes Arbi have the opportunity to compete in the FIM JuniorGP. Currently he is entering his second season in the race competition.
