Tyrese Maxey Scores 46 Points, 76ers Chase Knicks To 2-3

JAKARTA - Philadelphia 76ers Tyrese Maxey scored 46 points in their fifth match of the Eastern Region NBA playoffs against New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden New York, Wednesday 1 April WIB, which ended with a score of 112-106 and made it 2-3.

Philadelphia 76ers forced the sixth game between the two teams through matches that went through extra time or overtime.

"What happened to my mind at that time was just to survive," Maxey said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 1.

Maxey also added 9 assists and 5 rebounds and played a major role in a three-point 76ers shot where half of the team's tripoins were created by him.

Philadelphia recorded 15 tripoin shots from a total of 39 attempts, of which 7 tripoin came from Tyrese Maxey.

76er star Joel Embiid has recorded his first triple-double since injury with 19 points, 16 rebounds, and 19 assists. Tobias Harris added 19 points, and Kelly Oubre Jr 14 points.

Knikcs, who fought against 76ers to reach the East Region NBA semifinal ticket, was driven by Jalen Brunson who scored 40 points.

Josh Hart added 18 points, OG Anunonby recorded 17 points, and Miles McBride added 14 points from the bench.

Knicks have a chance to get rid of 76ers in tomorrow's sixth game. But the 76ers who play at home will take advantage of appearing at home to equalize and forcing the final game to play to determine which teams qualify for the semifinals.
