JAKARTA - Alleged match fixing appeared in the Bhayangkara FC vs Persik Kediri match, Tuesday, April 16, 2024. The General Chairperson (Ketum) of PSSI, Erick Thohir, gave a firm response.

Bhayangkara FC is scheduled to host Persik Kediri in the 31st week of Liga 1 2023/2024 at the PTIK Stadium, Jakarta. The Guardian won with a very bad score, 7-0.

The alleged match-fixing has also surfaced rapidly. In the aftermath, Persik management immediately moved quickly by making a report to the Anti-Mafia Ball Task Force regarding accusations involving his team.

Related to this, Erick Thohir gave his response. He considered it legal if there were allegations. However, all of that must still be followed up by looking for evidence.

"Allegations are welcome. However, that needs to be proven. Like yesterday, Persik Kediri reported it to the Task Force (Antimafia Bola)."

"As the General Chairperson of PSSI, I also sent a letter to the PSSI Komdis so that the two of them are integrated, don't split it later," said Erick Thohir in Central Jakarta on Friday, April 19, 2024.

The chairman of PSSI emphasized that the federation will continue to strive to carry out strict and integrated supervision of the referee who served in the match.

"I also confirmed yesterday with the Monitoring Committee. I have spoken with (Deputy Chairman of the Referee Committee) Pak (Yoshimi) Ogawa, Shake (Singh), Pak Rudi, Pak Jimmy (Napitupulu), Pak Purwanto."

"I also spoke with Pak Zainudin (Amali), Mrs. Ratu Tisha, Mr. Secretary General (Yunus Nusi). We will carry out supervision, including supervision," said Erick Thohir.
