JAKARTA - Justin Hubner's first Indonesian national team exercise looked enthusiastic with his new club in Japan's main division, Cerezo Osaka.

The Hubner, which Osaka brought in on March 12, was on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers, underwent her inaugural training last Friday.

In a video uploaded to the YouTube account of Cerezo Osaka, Hubner, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, March 30, you can be seen practicing lightly with his colleagues in Rondo training, light jogging, push up, sprint, and practicing bait accuracy.

He said he was very happy to be able to start training with his new club after a beautiful week with the Indonesian national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in the Asian zone by beating Vietnam twice.

"It's been a good week with the national team. So, I'm happy to be back in training," Hubner said via his club's official YouTube account on Saturday.

The 20-year-old defender feels very welcome at Cerezo Osaka and thinks his colleagues are very friendly to welcome him.

"It's really good. Everyone is friendly, everyone is trying to help me. So this is a really good group and I really enjoy it here," he explained.

Borrowed by Cerezo Osaka until the end of the year, Hubner hopes that his club will play this often.

"Hopefully I can get as many playing minutes as I can. It is important for me to be able to get more playing time in professional football," said the owner of seven stamps with the Indonesian national team.

Osaka will play home at the Yodoka Sakura Stadium against Shonan Bellmare on Saturday at 14.00 WIB in the fifth week of the Japanese League.

The club is third in the Japanese League standings this season with a collection of eight points or two points behind leaders Machida Zelvia.
