Dramatical Match, Persita Beat Arema FC 4-3

TANGERANG- Persita Tangerang managed to win a dramatic 4-3 victory over Arema FC in the 29th match of Liga 1 2023/2024 at the Indomilk Arena Stadium on Wednesday, March 13 evening.

The match was fierce since the beginning of the first half. Persita played with a high determination and managed to take advantage of opportunities well. Arema FC appeared inconsistent and made some harmful mistakes.

Arema FC opened the scoring first through Dendi Setiawan's goal in the 5th minute using a pass from Abel Camara. However, Persita did not remain silent and continued to try to equalize.

In the 26th minute, Persita finally managed to equalize through Ezequiel Vidal's goal. The goal was created after Vidal took advantage of Agustin Cattaneo's cross.

Just five minutes later, Persita took the lead through Ramiro Fergonzi's goal. Fergonzi managed to score a goal after utilizing the rebound ball from Ezequiel Vidal's free kick.

Arema FC did not give up and kept trying to equalize. In the 56th minute, Arema was awarded a penalty after Rizky Dwi Febrianto was dropped in the forbidden box. Dendi Setiawan, who stepped forward as the executor, managed to carry out his duties well and equalized to 2-2.

However, two minutes later, Persita again took the lead through Fergonzi's goal which took advantage of Irsyad Maulana's pass. Fergonzi managed to score a brace in this match.

Arema FC again reduced the position to 3-4 through Abel Camara's goal in the 78th minute. Camara managed to score a goal after using Evan Dimas' pass.

In the 85th minute, Arema FC got a golden opportunity to equalize after getting a penalty. However, the penalty from Dedik Setiawan was denied by Persita goalkeeper, Dhika Bayangkara.

Until the end of the match, Persita managed to maintain their lead and ensure a 4-3 victory. This victory brought Persita up to 7th in the Liga 1 standings with 41 points.
