PBSI Announces 9 New Couples At The Cipayung National Training Center 2024

Muhammad Rayhan Nur Fadillah was paired with Rahmat Hidayat (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA The Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) officially announced as many as nine new pairs at the Cipayung national training center (Pelatnas).

The information was shared via Instagram social media on Monday, February 19, 2024. The new pairs are scheduled to debut at the Vietnam International Challenge in March 2024.

"This new couple is planned to debut on the Vietnam International Challenge in March 2024," PBSI wrote in their upload.

This latest list is a combination of young players and several names who have appeared at the top level frequently. One of the names that is quite famous is Indah Cahaya Sari Jamil.

Indah was one of the potential badminton players with the status of junior world champion in mixed doubles in 2018. At that time, she raised the title with Leo Rolly Carnando.

Indah will now have a duet with 25-year-old badminton player born in Jakarta, Amri Syahnawi. Amri was previously paired with Winley Oktavina Kandow.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Rayhan Fadillah will partner with Muhammad Putra Irwansyah in the men's doubles. Rayhan was previously a partner of Rahmat Hidayat.

Rayhan had a duet with badminton player Marcus Fernaldi Gideon, while Rahmat had played with Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo, who was Marcus' previous partner. Kevin/Marcus is a couple that has achieved a lot of success.
