Dramatically, PSG Qualified For The Last 16 Of The Champions League After Drawing Dortmund

JAKARTA - Paris Saint-Germain dramatically qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League after drawing 1-1 in the last Group F match against Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park, Thursday, December 14 in the morning WIB.

PSG had to work hard to win a ticket to the knockout round. In the group there is only one ticket left because Dortmund has confirmed their pass. The deputy Bundesliga of Germany also emerged as group winners.

While the other tikers were contested by PSG, AC Milan and Newcastle United. All teams must beat each other against each other in the last match.

PSG who later came out as a 'winner' by bringing home the ticket to the last 16 after drawing against Dortmund. An additional one point makes PSG rank two with point eight.

Les Parisiens' points were equal to Milan, who unexpectedly won 2-1 over host Newcastle United.

PSG not only lead the goal difference but also head-to-head with Milan. Milan's victory ultimately helped PSG pass.

In that last match, PSG had difficulty facing Dortmund. Despite qualifying, Die Borussen did not just play casually. They still play optimally. Moreover, Dortmund acted as the host in this final match.

After playing goalless, PSG tried to increase the intensity of attacks in the second half. But they are still confident in penetrating the opponent's defense.

On the other hand, Dortmund took the lead when the game had only been running for six minutes. winger Karim Adeyemi successfully used Niclas Fuellkrug's assist to conquer goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

But the hosts' advantage did not last long. Only a few moments or 56 minutes later, Warren Zare-Emery broke into Dortmund's goal.

He managed to use a wild ball to beat goalkeeper Gregor Kobel. The score also changed to 1-1.

PSG actually turned ahead when Kylian Mbappe scored a goal in the 76th minute. However, after reviewing it via VAR, the referee canceled the goal because there was an offside PSG player.
