Syed Modi India Final Round Schedule: Dejan/Gloria's Chance to Win the Champion Title

JAKARTA - Indonesian mixed doubles representatives, Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja managed to secure tickets to the final round of the Syed Modi India International 2023. With one ticket in hand, Dejan/Gloria's chance to win the title is in sight.

In the final round which will be held on Sunday, December 3 at 15.30 p.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB), Dejan/Gloria will face Yuki Kaneko/Misaki Matsutomo from Japan.

The duel between the two will open the final which will take place at the Babu Banarasi Das Indoor Stadium, Lucknow.

To secure tickets to the final round, Dejan/Gloria successfully defeated Germany's representatives, Mark Lamsfuss/Isabel Lohau.

In the duel in the semifinals, the Indonesian representative won with a dramatic score, 21-19, 19-21, 22-20. These results give Dejan/Gloria the right to advance to the final round to challenge Yuki/Misaki.

From the meeting records with the Japanese representatives, Dejan/Gloria won 2-1. The last meeting took place at the 2023 World Championship with a 21-14 and 21-12 win for Dejan/Gloria.

In the final round, Japanese representatives dominated the competition, with five representatives spread across five competition numbers. Meanwhile, the host representatives only occupied one number, namely women's doubles, represented by Tanisha Crasto/Ashwini Ponnappa.
