Persib Regrets The Chaos That Occurred At The Indomilk Arena

The management of Persib Bandung feels that it is missed by Bobotoh who comes to the Indomilk Arena (doc. Persib).

JAKARTA - Persib Bandung immediately uploaded an official statement following the riots that occurred during the Dewa United vs Maung Bandung match at the Indomilk Arena, Sunday, November 26, 2023.

Maung Bandung's management felt cheated. You see, Bobotoh was present and forced his way into the stadium which led to clashes with the security forces.

"Previously, Persib had also conveyed an appeal through official channels so that Bobotoh would not force himself to come to the Indomilk Arena, Tangerang."

"In addition to the status of the match without spectators, the appeal was conveyed by Persib referring to the regulation on the prohibition of the presence of guest supporters that had previously been set."

"Based on the facts on the ground, there were several Bobotoh who forced their way to the Indomilk Arena, including several Viking districts and other communities," said Persib Bandung's official statement.

Maung Bandung regretted the incident. Moreover, the presence of Bobotoh led to a riot involving Bobotoh with security forces, even causing damage to stadium facilities, Dewa United officials' vehicles, and disturbing the order and comfort of residents around the stadium.

Inevitably, Persib apologized to the host, in this case Dewa United, Dewa united fans, and residents around the stadium affected by the incident.

"Therefore, Persib apologized to Dewa United's management, Dewa United fans, and residents around the Indomilk Arena, Tangerang, for the inconvenience caused by the riot incident involving the Bobotoh community."

"Hopefully this incident can be a lesson for all of us and not be repeated in the future, for the sake of better Indonesian football."
