China Masters 2023: Mixed Doubles Joining In Lifting Suitcases

JAKARTA The Indonesian mixed doubles have all been eliminated at the 2023 China Masters. They have the same fate as the men's and women's waiting numbers that have all fallen.

Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja lost 15-21 and 18-21 against seventh seed South Korea, Kim Won Ho/Jeong Na Eun, Thursday, November 23, 2023.

Gloria said that overall she and her colleagues had provided lawmakers. However, the solid game of the opponent makes them really difficult.

"The opponent must admit that the opponent is better prepared. Moreover, in the first game we were far behind. When the opponent increased the tempo, we were surprised too. We continued to pursue it, but the points were too far away," Gloria said after the match.

Meanwhile, Dejan Ferdinansyah said that the lack of neatness of the game was the cause of their defeat.

"We are also inconsistent in playing. Sometimes we can put up a tight fight, after that we disappear. From focus and concentration, we are still going up and down," he said.

Before Dejan/Gloria, Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari felt the failure first. The pair lost against the sixth seed hosts, Jiang Zhen Bang/Wei Ya Xin.

Running out of representatives was also felt by the men's and women's singles following the defeat of Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Gregoria Mariska Tunjung.

Anthony lost against China Taipei's Lin Chun-Yi, while Gregoria was stopped by former Japanese world champion Nozomi Okuhara.
