Profile Mario Aji, Indonesian Racer Competing In Moto3 Mandalika 2023

YOGYAKARTA Mario Aji's profile is interesting to discuss. He himself is known as one of Indonesia's riders with various achievements. Most recently, the Astra Honda Racing Team dropout will spur his vehicle at the MotoGP Indonesia race at the Mandalika Circuit which will be held from October 13 to 15.

Mario Suryo Aji is an Indonesian racer. He was born in Madiun, East Java on March 16, 2004. His interest in racing has emerged since childhood. At first he studied motocross and road race.

His role in the world of racing could not be separated from his father's role, Hartoto. It is known that Hartoto is a motocross rider in the country. Mario Aji's talent actually caught the attention of the Honda Racing School scouting team who worked as a motorsport rider.

After Mario Aji graduated from Honda Racing School in 2016, he then began to pursue his junior career in several championships, both nationally and internationally. After that he decided to join the Indonesian team in the Asia Talent Cup and started competing against many other racers from various countries in Asia.

The results are quite proud. In 2018 his glory began to appear. One of the successes he achieved was the podium at the Asia Talent Cup and managed to win several Grand Prixs.

Seeing Mario's achievements and performances, the Red Bull academy team took an interest in him. He was then appointed to represent the team competing in the 2019-2021 Red Bull Rookie Cup and 2019-2021 FIM CEV Moto3.

During his time at Red Bull Rookie and CEV FIM from 2019 to 2021, Mario rode a motorcycle equivalent to Moto3 with satisfactory results. Because of this achievement, Honda Team Asia, which focuses on Moto3, finally attracted Mario again as a representative of their rider.

In the 2022 Moto3 competition, Mario managed to perform several times and successfully completed 20 races throughout the season. However, he only got 5 points with a finish at number 26.

Meanwhile, in the 2023 season, Mario Aji has a better chance of finishing than the previous year because he has collected 4 points from 14 races. He also still has other opportunities to add points, especially when appearing in Moto3 Mandalika 2023.

Mario Aji is also predicted to face new challenges next season by competing in Moto2. This achievement is certainly very proud. Most recently, Mario Aji has finished his match at the 2023 Mandalika Moto3 which will be held on Friday, October 13, morning. Unfortunately, Mario Aji failed to break into the top 20 position in the 20th Moto3 Mandalika P2 2023.

At P2 Moto3 at the Mandalika Circuit, Mario Aji had to settle for the 22nd rank with a time of 1 minute 41,279 seconds.
