JAKARTA - Isaac Drogba, the son of former Chelsea and Ivory Coast national team striker Didier Drogba, signed a deal with Italian fourth division club Folgore Caratese.
The 20-year-old, who operates in attacking line like his father, joined the Lombardy-based club after spending his youth at Chelsea and with U-19 team as well as French Ligue B Club Guingamp.

"Folgore Caratese announced that they have signed Isaac Drogba, the son of Didier, on a permanent contract," the Serie D club announced Isaac's signing via their website.
His father, Didier, started his career at the French second division club at Le Mans and went on to win four Premier League trophies, four FA Cups and the Champions League with Chelsea.
He also won the Turkish League once with Galatasaray and was Ivory Coast's all-time leading scorer before retiring in 2018.
Isaac is now tasked with leading his new club into Serie C after they currently rank seventh in the Group A standings in Serie D, two points outside of the playoff spot.
