Liga 1 2023/2024 Results: Bali United Defeats Persikabo, Barito Putera Fails To Type 3 Points For Suicide Goals

JAKARTA - Bali United won well when they hosted Persikabo 1973 in the 14th week of Liga 1 2023/2024. Serdadu Tridatu managed to win 2-0 over the visitors.

In the match which took place at the I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar on Friday, September 29 evening WIB, Bali United as the host, impressed. Stefano Cugurra's team managed to shake the opponent's goal in the 28th minute.

The opening goal was created by Novri Setiawan after receiving a yellow card four minutes earlier. Persikabo could not reply to the top score for the hosts until halftime.

After the first advantage, Bali United even had to accept the bitter situation in the second half. Novri, who opened the scoring, was issued by the referee in the 87th minute due to the accumulation of yellow cards.

Winning the number of players, should be a gap for Persikabo to equalize. However, the remaining time has not made Persikabo difficult.

Instead, the hosts added to the advantage at the end of the match. The score changed to 2-0 at the end of the minute, Jefferson's goal confirmed the hosts' victory. Three points at home made Bali United have 21 points to sit in sixth place in the standings.

Barito Putera felt a different result, who also appeared on the same day. Entertaining RANS Nusantara at the Demang Lehman Stadium, Barito wasted opportunities to gain three points at home.

Rahmad Darmawan's team failed to beat RANS Nusantara FC because they were detained 1-1 by the visitors. Even though Barito was able to lead first in the 14th minute.

The team nicknamed Laskar Antasari scored a goal through Gustavo Tocantins. The Brazilian striker received a pass from Bagus Kahfi to break into RANS Nusantara FC's goal.

However, RANS Nusantara FC equalized in the 34th minute in a painful way. It happened because Barito Putera defender Renan Alves actually scored a goal against himself.

This draw failed to be doubled by Barito Putera until the minute the game ended. Sharing points makes Barito Putera now have 21 points and is in 7th position, behind RANS who now have 23 points and sit in third place in the standings.
