4 Women's Baket Team Make Sure To Escape The 2024 PON After The 3X3 National Championship

The four women's 3x3 basketball teams have confirmed that they have passed the 2024 Aceh-North Sumatra National Sports Week (PON) qualification, after confirming that they won the group at the 3x3 Basketball National Championship which was held in Yogyakarta, until Sunday, September 24.

The women's 3x3 basketball team that passed the 2024 PON were Bali as winners of Group A, DI Yogyakarta as winners of Group B, DKI Jakarta from Group C, and East Java from Group D.

The Technical Delegate of the 3x3 National Championship Qualification PON 2024 Aceh-North Sumatra Renny Dwi Chandrawati in a written statement received in Jakarta, explained that the four teams were no longer competing on the last day. This is because they immediately qualified with their status as group winners.

While the other six tickets will be contested by rank two, three, and four in each group. They will compete again today against the team from other groups.

From those matches, the top six were taken for the team that qualified followed the previous four teams. That way, there are 10 participants who qualified from this National Championship to the Aceh-North PON.

Meanwhile, in the men's category, no team has confirmed their qualifying for the 2024 PON. All teams still have to compete again on the last day of the 2024 PON Qualification 3x3 Basketball National Championships today.

"So Sunday will be fun. All teams compete for the Aceh-North PON. So the people of Jogja come to Ambarukmo Plaza and watch exciting matches from morning to night," explained the Chairperson of the National Championship Committee 3x3 Qualification for PON 2024 Aceh-North Sumatra Andy Setiawan, confiscated by Antara.

3x3 Basketball Championship at Ambarukmo Plaza Yogyakarta on September 21-24, 2023. This National Championship is a stage for young players to go to the Aceh-North Aceh National Sports Week (PON).

This year's 3x3 Basketball Championship was attended by 44 team participants spread from all over Indonesia. The details, for the men's category as many as 26 teams, and for the women's category there are 18 teams.
