These Are 36 Players Called By Shin Tae-yong For TC Of 2021 SEA Games Preparation

JAKARTA - Indonesian national team coach, Shin Tae-yong, summoned 36 players to attend a training camp (TC) in Jakarta on February 8-28, 2021 which was held as part of preparations for the 2021 SEA Games.

Quoted by Antara from the official PSSI website, Friday, February 5, the composition of the national team squad in the TC is a combination of U-19, U-22 and senior players (over 22 years old).

"In this TC all players that we call are playing in the Indonesian League competition. We also have called a number of players from the U-19 national team and senior players," said Shin Tae-yong.

The U-19 players who are included in the list include Pratama Arhan, Amiruddin Bagas, Braif Fatari, Irfan Jauhari, Natanael Siringoringo and Saddam Gaffar.

Meanwhile, the senior names included by Shin were Evan Dimas, Nadeo Argawinata, Dendy Sulistyawan, Kushedya Yudo, Miftahul Hamdi, Arif Satria and Sidik Saimima.

Pratama Arhan, who is also the U-19 national team defender, is grateful to be able to strengthen the national team in TC in February 2021.

"Alhamdulillah, I can return to the training camp with the Indonesian national team. I am very happy of course, and I want to give the maximum in the TC later," said the player who strengthens PSIS Semarang.

The 2021 SEA Games are scheduled to take place from November to December in Vietnam.

Based on similar competition regulations, in 2019, every men's football team must be strengthened by players with a maximum age of 22 years (U-22) and a maximum of two senior players who are over 22 years old.
