Indonesia vs Turkmenistan National Team U-23 Asian Cup Qualification Prediction: Determining Match towards the Final Round

JAKARTA - The Indonesian U-23 National Team will play the deciding match in the U-23 Asian Cup Qualification round against Turkmenistan at Manahan Stadium, Solo on Tuesday 12 September at 19.00 p.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB). This match will be hot because both teams are fighting for tickets to qualify directly for the finals in Qatar.

The Indonesian U-23 and Turkmenistan national teams are in fierce competition in the Group K standings. The Garuda Muda squad is in the top position with 3 points.

However,  that number is the same as that of Turkmenistan which is in second place. They only lost on goal difference.

The Indonesian national team is considered the top team to qualify from the qualifying round because of its host status in Group K.

Facing Turkmenistan, the Indonesian U-23 national team had high confidence after winning 9-0 against Taiwan in the initial match on Saturday, September 9. Nevertheless, the Garuda Muda squad must remain alert because Turkmenistan also previously achieved a landslide 4-0 victory over Taiwan, on Wednesday, September 6.

These results make Indonesia's chances of qualifying much more open than Turkmenistan. To ensure a ticket to qualify for the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup in Qatar, Indonesia can choose to win or at least achieve a draw with any score to qualify for the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup in Qatar.

Even though they have a big opportunity, facing Turkmenistan U-23 is still not an easy matter for the Garuda Muda squad. The reason is that in the record of meetings between the two teams, the Indonesian U-23 national team always lost to Turkmenistan U-23.
