MU Internal Heats Up After Losing To Arsenal! Jadon Sancho War Words With Erik Ten Hag

JAKARTA – Manchester United player, Jadon Sancho, was involved in a war of words with his manager, Erik ten Hag, after not playing when his team lost to Arsenal. This winger only warmed up the bench when MU lost 1-3 in the fourth week of the English Premier League at the Emirates Stadium, Sunday, September 3 evening.

According to reports, Ten Hag left Sancho on the bench because his performance in training did not meet expectations. However, the player did not accept that reason.

"I'm not going to let people say things that are completely untrue, I've done really well in training this week," he said.

Sancho, 23 years old, joined MU from Borussia Dortmund in 2021 for £73 million. He has scored 12 goals in 82 games with the Red Devils since then.

However, this season Sancho has struggled to find a place on the wing. He has to compete with players like Marcus Rashford, Antony, and Alejandro Garnacho.

"I'm sure there are other reasons for this issue that I won't get into, I've been the scapegoat for a long time and it's not fair!" said Sancho.

Sancho has actually appeared in the Red Devils' opening three matches in the English Premier League this season. However, all from the bench.

Therefore, many people wondered when the England international was not included as a substitute against Arsenal.

"All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team," said Sancho.

"I respect all the decisions made by the coaching staff, I'm playing with fantastic players and I'm grateful to be able to do it, all I know is that every week is a challenge," he added.

The defeat against Arsenal was MU's second defeat in the four matches they played. Previously the team lost against another London team, Tottenham Hotspur.
