Milner passed it on to Firmino, who immediately fired a pull-back pass and the aging midfielder let the ball roll past him to be struck by Salah to equalize 2-2.

The goal fired the Liverpool players enthusiastically and Salah had a chance to grab a hat-trick in the 67th minute but his shot was too weak and was easily tamed by Henderson.

The wasted opportunity proved crucial recently, as Liverpool's back line made another mistake when Fabinho violated Edinson Cavani's fall right on the line of the penalty box.

The results of the free kick obtained by MU were faced and executed perfectly by Bruno Fernandes to bring the Red Devils back to the 3-2 lead.

Fernandes, who only came on in the 66th minute, scored with a careful free-kick and shot past goalkeeper Alisson Becker at the far post in the 76th minute.
