JAKARTA - The Indonesian racer, Mario Suryo Aji, achieved extraordinary achievements in the United States Moto3 series, Monday, April 17 in the morning WIB. The rider who defended Honda Team Asia made a sensational performance.

He found the best race results in his Moto3 class career by finishing in 12th place during the Circuit of the Americas race, Austin, Texas.

This is the first point of the season!

Following poor qualification results, Mario started the race from the 25th grid. However, he managed to escape the incident at Turn 2 where a number of riders fell on the opening lap.

The rider, who is full of Honda Team Asia, finished the 14-round race by improving seven positions to take home four points after finishing.

"One of the best races of my career," Mario said in an official team statement, Monday morning.

"We waited until the race, didn't think about the results, just concentrating on staying in the group, fighting until the end."

"This result gives me enormous motivation. I am happy but not satisfied enough, I will continue to hunt points this year," said the 19-year-old racer, as reported by Antara.

There are still 18 races this season that will offer Mario the opportunity to continue his progress.

Praise also came from the team manager, Hiroshi Aoyama. He said this race was felt so long before Mario Aji finally contributed the first point of the season.

"The race was only 14 laps, but we felt it was a long time ago! The fight was difficult, and Mario managed to finish 12th starting from 25th! We are happy and proud of him," said Aoyama.
