Roberto Mancini Doesn't Accept The Italian National Team Losing To England In Euro 2024 Qualification

JAKARTA - The coach of the Italian national team, Roberto Mancini, did not accept the results achieved by his team in the Euro 2024 qualifying match Group C. He claimed that Gli Azzuri should be able to keep up with the England national team's game.

In the match at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Friday, March 24 in the morning WIB, Italy lost slightly to England. The host gave up with a score of 1-2.

The Three Lions' second goal came with the execution of Declan Rice in the 13th minute and Harry Kane's penalty in the 44th minute. Meanwhile, the hosts' consolation goal was scored through young striker Mateo Retegui in the second interval of the 56th minute.

Italy has not lost in home games in the Euro qualifiers since 1999.

Mancini judged them to have performed poorly in the first half. That factor made Gianluigi Donnarumma's goal conceded two goals from The Three Lions.

"We may start with a tough fight this time, but hope to end it smoothly," he concluded.
