MAKASSAR - PSM Makassar is already on the verge of winning. The club nicknamed Juku Eja only needed three more to seal the title.

PSM itself still has three more matches left in the remaining 2022/2023 Liga 1 competitions. However, those three matches will not take place easily.

PSM midfielder Wiljan Pluim admits his team will face a tough schedule. PSM will face strong teams such as Madura United, PSIS Semarang and Borneo FC.

"We will have a tough match, which is difficult and this match is no different from the previous matches," said Pluim, as reported by Antara.

Despite facing a tough schedule, the Dutch player emphasized that PSM is ready to work hard to face these challenges.

"I think what we do is up to us, whether we really want to get good results and are working hard on that," explained Pluim.

"What we do must be focused and really ready to provide for the match, of course we need support from our supporters," he concluded.

PSM only needs to secure three points from the remaining three matches in order to secure the Indonesian League 1 title this season. A mission that is not so difficult because Juku Eja is in positive form.

The Sulawesi team was able to secure points from 11 consecutive matches. In detail, PSM made 10 wins and one draw.

Currently Juku Eja is ranked first in the Indonesian League 1 standings with 69 points from 31 matches, 13 points from Persib Bandung who are in second place and 15 points from Persija Jakarta who occupies third place.
