Congratulations On The Increase In Ramadan 1444 Hijri Fasting From European Clubs

JAKARTA - All Muslims are fasting in the month of Ramadan 1444 Hijri. In Indonesia, 1 Ramadan falls today, Thursday, March 23.

In honor of their fans who are also many Muslims, a number of European clubs did not forget to wish them a happy fast. These remarks were also given to their players who also embraced Islam.

The club also has Muslim players in its team including Mohamed Salah at Liverpool, Riyad Mahrez from Manchester City, Ousmane Dembele at Barcelona, Karim Benzema at Real Madrid, Achraf Hakimi at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), N'Golo Kante at Chelsea and many more.

A number of European clubs conveyed their greetings through their official social media accounts. The following is congratulations from the European clubs which were reported by the club's social media account via Antara:

"Ramadan Kareem. We congratulate the blessed month of Ramadan for all Muslims around the world," wrote Manchester City.

"Ramadan Kareem is for all Arsenal supporters who celebrate," wrote the leader of the Premier League standings.

Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United also do the same on their social media accounts.

Chelsea even announced that they would hold a joint opening event at Stamford Bridge on March 26, 2023.

"On Sunday March 26, the Chelsea Foundation will hold a joint opening on the side of Stamford Bridge, which is the first for English Premier League clubs and stadiums," Chelsea wrote on their official website.

In addition to Premier League clubs, two giants LaLiga Real Madrid and Barcelona wish Muslims all over the world a happy fast via their official Twitter account.

"Real Madrid congratulates and the warmest blessings in the holy month of Ramadan," wrote Los Blancos on the official Arabic-language account.

Barcelona uploaded a short video showing coach Xavi Hernandez saying "Ramadan Mubarak," with Ramadan full of blessings from Barcelona for everyone celebrating it.

French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) uploaded videos containing players such as Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, Marquinhos, Achraf Hakimi to Sergio Ramos saying Ramadhan Kareem.

Serie A clubs such as AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus also participated in the month of Ramadan.

"Pray for the full month of blessing and peace," wrote Inter Milan on their official Indonesian account.

"Congratulations Ramadan Mubarak to all our Muslim fans," AC Milan tweeted.

"To all the celebrating Bianconeri, we wish you a happy Ramadan," Juventus wrote on Twitter.
