No Miracle For Liverpool At Real Madrid Headquarters

JAKARTA - Liverpool were eliminated from the 2022/2023 Champions League. The English Premier League team was unable to create a surprise at the Santiago Bernabeu, home to Real Madrid, Thursday, March 16 in the morning WIB.

There is no miracle for Liverpool. In fact, Jurgen Klopp's team had to swallow the bitter pill again.

The Reds lost 1-0 in the second leg of the Champions League last 16. This result made Liverpool lose 2-6 on aggregate.

Demanded to win with a big score after losing 2-5 in the first leg, Liverpool played attacking from the start. However, Mohamed Salah and his friends seemed to have lost their spurs.

After confirming via video, the referee continued the match and assessed that no violation had occurred. The final score remains 1-0 for Real Madrid's victory which ensures itself qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals.
