The Inter-Student Rock Climbing Tournament For The Nunukan Regency Government Nets For Young Athletes

TANJUNG SELOR - The Nunukan Regency Government of North Kalimantan is now capturing the seeds of young athletes, one of which is through rock climbing tournaments between students.

"This tournament is the first time it has been carried out in Nunukan and we hope to catch young rock climbing seeds," said Nunukan Regent Asmin Laura as quoted from Antara, Sunday, March 12.

For your information, the championship was held by the National Sports Teachers Association (Igornas) at the Dwikora Nunukan Sports Center since Thursday, March 9.

Asmin Laura gave appreciation and appreciation to Igornas and the Indonesian Rock Climbing Federation (FPTI) of Nunukan Regency for holding this championship.

"With this tournament we have seen great and potential rock climbing athletes. We also encourage students to participate in this activity with enthusiasm," he said.

The Regent of Nunukan also hopes that sports players from children to adults, administrators of sports organizations, teachers, federation administrators, sports administrators, and coaches who are involved in rock climbing sports have high confidence and enthusiasm to continue to achieve achievements.

"Take every opportunity to train yourself and develop potential like climbing athletes who are excited to get every point on the climbing board." he explained.

Nunukan Regency once had a rock climbing world athlete on behalf of Sabri who had donated a silver medal for Indonesia at the 2018 Asian Games Jakarta-Palembang.
