JAKARTA - The operator of the Liga 1 competition, PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB), discussed the fate of several matches that had not been implemented due to the postponement of the schedule. There are ten matches that have not yet been held, including the big match between Persija Jakarta vs Persib Bandung.

President Director of PT LIB, Ferry Paulus said, a number of pending matches are already in the rescheduling stage. Persija vs Persib's prestigious match is one that has received certainty.

"There are many postponed matches that have not been implemented, there are 10 parties postponed, there are 2 big parties that will definitely be a concern," said Ferry Paulus in the Senayan area on Wednesday, March 8.

"They have planned, that schedule, Persija versus Persib Bandung (held) on March 31," added Ferry.

Persija vs Persib match in Liga 1 was supposed to be held on March 4. However, the match had to be postponed because Persija did not get a security permit to hold the match.

Persija vs Persib's decision was held on March 31, Ferry Paulus said, had gone through adjustments to other match schedules.

"Why is there a (dating) there, because indeed the slot after being rescheduled is only in those positions. Likewise, many other clubs also have a reschedule," he said.

Apart from that consideration, the schedule was chosen after the operator calculated the time it would take for clubs and players to rest and recover.

"We are also looking for how the recovery day will be, then from the previous match to the next match, which is most plausible because of our main target that before Eid al-Fitr it must be completed," said Ferry Paulus.

Although the date of the postponement match has been determined, regarding the location of the Persija vs Persib match, Ferry still cannot confirm even though the Kemayoran Tiger team has submitted it at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium.

"The venue is still in process. They (Persija) submitted it at Gelora Bung Karno, using the audience. But we have coordinated with the police so that this will also be a good place," he explained.
