Liverpool Vs Real Madrid 2-5, Bad Dreams Named Vicinus And Karim Benzema

JAKARTA - Real Madrid impressed so much in the match against Liverpool in the first leg of the Champions League last 16 on Wednesday morning WIB. Having fallen 0-2, Los Blancos got up and turned things around.

Carlo Ancelotti's side left Liverpool supporters who packed the Anfield Stadium silent. Their five goals fell into Alisson Becker's goal.

This 5-2 victory clearly eases Real Madrid's steps in dealing with the second leg played at the Santiago Bernabeu, March 15. You could say, one leg of Real Madrid is already in the quarter-finals.

Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema are the Reds' nightmare. The two each scored two goals and one assist for Los Blancos.

The Brazilian then passed it on to Benzema, who still had time to outwit Alisson before slotting the ball into the home net.

In the remaining time, Liverpool are still trying hard to threaten Real's goal. But they were unable to penetrate Real's defense meetings, even though they had relied on a combination of short passes and cross passes. Real came out as the winner and looked at the second match with light steps.
