Romeo Beckham's Work In Brentford B: Ditampar Wasit, Diejek Coach Against And Now A Hero

JAKARTA David Beckham's son, Romeo, scored a cool goal in the second half extra minutes to give Brentford B a win when he met Wealdstone.

The late goal from Romeo Beckham ensured Brentford B advance to the semi-finals of the Middlesex Senior Cup. They won 3-2 over Wealdstone at Grosvenor Vale on Thursday, February 15, 2023.

The son of the English football legend scored from the far post after entering the bench. After breaking into the opponent's goal in the 93rd minute, he immediately celebrated so wildly.

Brentford B played against Wealdstone and started the game better. Tristan Crama and Frank Onyeka managed to score to put the Bees 2-0 up in 22 minutes.

However, Wealdstone put up the fight and managed to equalize after a goal from Tarrelle Whittaker just before halftime and Olufela Ollomola's goal in the second half of the game which had only been running for eight minutes.

The match after that looks like it will end in a draw before the referee's whistle. Luckily, Romeo, who was 20 years old, managed to appear as a hero for his team.

Being the decisive winner made Romeo harvest praise from supporters. On Twitter social media, he was widely praised by club fans.

"Come on Beckham Jr. Good job," wrote one user.

"Start children," another added.

Romeo joined Brentford on loan from the MLS team, Inter Miami, last January. In his debut, he was slapped by the referee and ridiculed by the opposing coach.
