Persikabo's Tekuk 2-0, Madura United Back To The Victory Line

JAKARTA - Madura United ended a negative trend in the Indonesian League 1 event this season by beating Persikabo 1973 with a score of 2-0 in the 24th week at Pakansari Stadium, Bogor, Saturday 11 February.

The victory became a positive record for Laskar Sape Kerrab, who previously made one draw and four defeats in their last five matches in Liga 1 Indonesia.

In this match Madura United's victory over host Persikabo 1973 was born thanks to goals scored by Beto Goncalves and Lulinha, according to the Indonesian League records.

An additional three points for Madura United made them maintain their 4th position in the Indonesian League 1 standings, with a score of 40 points from 24 matches. Meanwhile, Persikabo 1973 is ranked 15th with 25 points from 23 matches.

In the first half, the visitors took the lead in the 22nd minute after Lulinha's pass was maximized into a goal by Beto Goncalves through a header that made the score 1-0.

Madura United again poses a threat to Persikabo's goal, this time through Reva Adi's shot which still bounced over Dicky Indrayana's bar.

The home team increased the intensity of their attacks to find equalizers, but their efforts have not yielded results.

Fabio Lefundes' squad again threatened Persikabo's goal through a kick from Beto, but this effort has not met the target and bounced over the crossbar.

Beto Goncalves is truly a threat to Persikabo's defense. The Brazilian naturalized player again endangered Laskar Pajajaran's goal, but his header failed to meet the target.
