Conor McGregor Must Do This Before Returning To The UFC

JAKARTA - UFC fighter Conor McGregor has yet to sign up for anti-doping bodies ahead of a comeback to the octagon. He will face Michael Chandler in his first fight after a long absence from injury.

UFC President Dana White announced that McGregor will face Chadler twice this year. One of them is rumored to be taking place in September.

But according to TSN Sports, McGregor has yet to register for a US Anti-Doping Agency test, which is actually required for every fighter at the UFC.

He had to be registered for at least six months and had at least two negative tests before any match.

McGregor has been out of action since July 202. Breaks in the opening round of his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier.

The former UFC champion spent 2022 carrying out severe injury rehabilitation after surgery the previous year. As a result, McGregor was not registered in random testing throughout the USADA year.

That means, he had to register in April to qualify for Manchester's fight at The Ultimate Fighter.

The Ultimate Fighter is a reality series where competitors live, train, and fight together to win UFC contracts.

McGregor starred in The Ultimate Fighter for the second time, following his 2015 appearance against Urijah Faber, who is now 43 years old.

"We just confirmed the coach for season 31 from The Ultimate Fighter. Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler will face each other as leaders at The Ultimate Fighter," Dana White said, as quoted by The Sun.
