At The End Of Series 1 IBL 2023, Satria Muda Proves To Be A Champion Of Restless In A Peak Position

JAKARTA - Series 1 IBL 2023 has been completed, at the end of the Satria Muda competition, they managed to prove themselves as defending champions. This was proven by Fictor Rosing's team by occupying the top position.

In the last agenda of Series 1 which took place at GOR Merpati, Denpasar on Saturday, January 21, Satria Muda won over 15 other teams. While the bottom position of the standings is occupied by Tangerang Hawks Basketball.

Even though he was successful at the top position, Satria Muda actually pocketed the same points as the runner-up team and third in the standings, namely Bumi Borneo Basketball Pontianak and Dewa United Banten. The three teams collected eight points after becoming an unbeaten team in four matches in IBL Series 1 Bali.

In fourth place is Pelita Jaya who has seven points. This result was achieved after winning three times and losing once against Prawira Harum Bandung in the inaugural match of IBL 2023 Series 1 Bali.

Bima Perkasa is under Pelita Jaya, this team from Yogyakarta occupies the fifth position through six points. The number was collected because they were an unbeaten team during their match in IBL Series 1 in three games, while there was still one match that had not been held.

The other three teams under the position of Bima Perkasa are RANS PIK Basketball, Bali United Basketball, and West Bandits Solo. These three teams collected 6 points, but they are under Bima Perkasa because they have played four matches in IBL Series 1 Bali.

Prawira Harum Bandung, who sits in ninth position, still has the opportunity to rise to the standings because he has only played three games. The team made by coach David Singleton has only collected 5 points from 2 wins and 1 if they lose.

In tenth, 11th, and 12th, sequentially there are Evos Thunder Bogor, RJ Amartha Hangtuah Jakarta, and the Indonesia Patriots. The three teams have played four matches with one win, and three defeats so that their points are now at 5.

Just below the three teams, there is Elang Pacific Caesar Surabaya in 13th place who has pocketed 4 points with one win and two defeats. However, like Bima Perkasa, and Prawira Bandung, Pacific Caesar have only played three games in Series 1 Bali.

The bottom three teams, namely Satya Wacana in 14th place, Mountain Gold Timika in 15th place, and Tangerang Hawks Basketball in 16th place had to settle for 4 points because they had never won when they competed in IBL Series 1 Bali.

However, the Tangerang Hawks, who fill the bottom position of the standings, have the opportunity to rise because they have only played three games.

With seven series remaining, these 16 teams still have a great opportunity to improve their position and get points. Where Series 2 will be held at GOR Bima Sakti, Malang, East Java on 28 January-4 February, Series 3 Surabaya at DBL Arena on 11-18 February, Series 4 Solo at Sritex Arena on 25 February-4 March.

Seri 5 Semarang di Knights Stadium pada 11-18 Maret, Seri 6 Yogyakarta di GOR Amonggrogo pada 24-31 Mei, Seri 7 Bandung di C-TRA Arena pada 4-11 Juni, dan rangkaian pertandingan ditutup Seri 8 Jakarta di Britama Arena pada 17-24 Juni.

Each team will play 30 matches throughout the series. If in total there are 240 matches in this season's IBL, where that number is 64 matches more than the IBL for the 2022 season.
