Teco Value Two Foreign Players Have Strong Reasons To Stay At Bali United

JAKARTA - Bali United coach Stefano Cugurra assessed that his two foreign players who had just extended their contracts, Melvin Platje and Brwa Nouri, had strong reasons to stay in the League 1 club.

In the midst of a wave of departure from a number of League 1 players abroad because domestic competition could not continue, Bali managed to extend Platje and Nouri's tenure a few days ago.

"These two players are qualified and have achievements at Bali United. They have been able to help this team to win the 2019 League and help the team a lot," said Teco, as quoted by Antara on the club's official website.

"Melvin has been able to adapt well to Indonesian football. His family is also comfortable living in Bali. Meanwhile, Nouri is a very experienced player in Europe, but while playing in Bali he has been able to adapt well to Indonesia," he added.

Teco then explained the advantages possessed by the two foreign players.

"Melvin is a player who has good quality to score goals as a forward and can give good feedback to a friend to turn it into a goal. Nouri also as a defensive midfielder has good technique and follows my tactics."

"These two players are very good to be back with Bali United," said the Brazilian coach.

Bali United will return to training in January 2021. Domestic league operators have yet to announce the fate of the competition next year, but Serdadu Tridatu is certain to participate in the 2021 AFC Cup.
