Max Vestappen Has A Third Kali Champion Cans In F1 Season 2023

JAKARTA - Red Bull Chief engineer Paul Morgan believes Max Verstappen will be better this year so his chances of defending the title are open.

Verstappen appeared dominant last season and set a record 15 wins in one season. A result that allows him to win the second title in a row.

"Max is technically very talented. He does a lot of work as a young rider. He knows what's being talked about in the car and he knows what he wants," Paul said.

Verstappen came out as last season's champion after successfully collecting 454 points from 22 race series. He managed to make 146 points clear of Charles Leclerc in second place.

Verstappen confirmed the title after the Japanese series when there were still four races remaining. He then followed the first three podiums again after that to hold the record for the most wins in a season.

Paul said Verstappen had a great chance to perform better in this year's race. Moreover, he received support from qualified technicians who would maintain the performance of his car.

"If you look at his record for the last few seasons he's been with us, it's amazing. He wouldn't have achieved that if he weren't an amazing racer," he said.

The plan for the 2023 season race will take place in 24 series. The championship will begin with a pre-season test in Bahrain before continuing the first series March 3-5 at the same place.
