JAKARTA - Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta confirmed that the Gunners had plans for the next two transfer markets. He also claimed some of the bad results his team had experienced due to bad luck.

The Gunners must sit in 15th place in the standings after only collecting 14 points from 14 matches, and only four points ahead of Fulham who are in the relegation zone.

Ahead of the Carabao Cup match against Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday, Arteta explained that Arsenal Technical Director Edu has plans for a player transfer, while the Spaniard will increase the squad's strength.

"The planning is complete, what we want to do in January and in the summer," said Arteta, quoted by Antara from Goal, Tuesday.

"Sometimes you can do it, sometimes it doesn't depend on a lot of factors. Edu is handling that at the moment and I'm focused on all the games, we don't have much time to spend energy now because it's very clear what we want to do."

Arsenal have won only one of their last 10 Premier League games, losing seven.

Arteta feels his team has been unlucky on several occasions this season and insists there are factors beyond his control.
