JAKARTA - Atletico Madrid are reportedly one step away from signing Turkish defender Caglar Soyuncu from Leicester City, according to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on Monday.

"The agreement has not yet been reached or signed, but the negotiation process is in its final stages and will be completed as soon as possible.

Apart from Atletico, the 26-year-old defender is also reportedly being approached by Aston Villa and AS Roma.
Soyuncu has played for Leicester since 2018 after being signed in from SC Freiburg for a transfer value of 18 million.
Soyuncu won the FA Cup season 2020/21 and the FA Community Shield while defending Leicester City. In total he has played 125 appearances and scored three goals with the English club.
