JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team will be strengthened by 23 players in the 2022 AFF Cup. There are two naturalized players who will be mainstays, namely Jordi Amat and Ilija Spasojevic.

For Jordi Amat, this is his first opportunity to defend the Indonesian national team. He was also very enthusiastic ahead of his debut with the Garuda Squad.

Indonesia will play two home games at the Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta when they host Cambodia on Friday, December 23, and Thailand, December 29.

Jordi officially received the status of an Indonesian citizen on November 17. Jordi currently plays for Malaysian club, Johor Darul Takzim. He will wear jersey number 4 in the Indonesian national team.
