Conor McGregor's Message To USADA And UFC: 'I'm Ready To Test Doping In February

JAKARTA - Conor McGregor has not stepped into the UFC octagon since July 2021 when his leg broke against Dustin Poirier for the third time.

However, the Irish fighter now announces he is ready to undergo a doping test in February and if the two test results are negative he will order a next fight.

McGregor has not undergone a drug test with the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) and needs to register at the organization's testing pool for at least six months before he can fight again at the UFC.

This controversial mixed martial artist wants to get exemptions from the UFC and USADA as the Dana White company can agree that:

"The extraordinary situation or where the strict implementation of the rule will be actually unfair to athletes", as stated in their joint policy.

Outside of the doping test, McGregor told fans during an Instagram live broadcast that he plans to return in early 2023 when he completes his recovery.

The Notorious also said he was ready to start training camps and expressed his joy to return to fighting in the octagon.
