Wow! Germany's National Team Is Staying At The Luxury Resort Of IDR 353 Million Per Night During The 2022 World Cup Qatar

JAKARTA The German national team stayed at a super luxury resort facility while they were in Qatar to take part in the 2022 World Cup which started rolling last night.

According to The Sun's report on Monday, the four-time national team, isolated themselves in a luxurious neighborhood-friendly hotel in northern Qatar on the coast of the Persian Gulf.

The resort in question is the Zulal Wellness Resort at Al Shamal. More than a quarter of the five-star hotel rooms in that place have already been ordered by Germany.

The room price there ranges from 700 pounds (Rp. 13 million) to 19 thousand pounds Rp. 353 million per night. That value is for a high-end suite as well as a head of a private servant.

However, there is a strong reason why Germany had to pay such a large fee for their national team.

Their sporting director Oliver Bierhoff is said to have deliberately chosen the location so his players can open their windows and enjoy the fresh air. Bierhoff is now tasked with keeping his superstars in good shape.

"It might be nice to live in Doha, but we saw a hotel in the city center where the window wasn't even open. You feel a little imprisoned," Bierhoff said, reported by The Sun, November 21, 2022.

"Your dreams don't always come true. We are happy to be here in this part of the country and we have told the players to always move their bodies to get used to the heat as much as possible," he added.

Zulal has only been almost a year old and has become one of the environmentally friendly resorts. No plastic is allowed to be brought to the scene. German players are also prohibited from drinking soda-like drinks, etc.

Hansi Flick's side will start in Group E against Japan on Wednesday night. They then face Spain and Costa Rica.
