Coach Puji Work Etos Djokovic Is No LONGer Young

JAKARTA - The men's singles tennis player, Novak Djokovic managed to win the ATP Final title after winning over Norwegian tennis playerchody Ruud with a score of 7-5, 6-3 in Turin, Italy, Sunday, November 20.

The Serb's victory was his sixth title to match Roger Federer's achievement. The title, which was won at the age of 35, also made Djokovic the oldest player to win the ATP Finals.

Djokovic's achievement received appreciation from his coach, Goran Ivanisevic. The former Wimbledon champion was amazed by Djokovic's performance which continued to produce sweet results.

For the Croatian coach, what Djokovic has achieved at a young age is the fruit of his continuous work ethic.

"He (Djokovic) trained harder than when he was 22 years old," Ivanisevic was quoted as saying by Livescore on Monday, November 24.

"That's why he's still so good and that's why he's still going to be even better," he continued.

The coach also revealed that over the age of 30, Djokovic still has a burning passion for training. He is also a tennis player who never stops learning to be better.

"The desire to train, the desire to improve, the desire to be better than the inside is extraordinary. He takes care of his body,"

"In my time, we stopped playing tennis at the age of 30, 31. You are already a parent who is ready to leave. But he is different," Ivanisevic mentioned about tennis players in his era.

On the other hand, the coach said that time will bring regeneration of young tennis players who must perform better than the previous generation. For this, Ivanisevic mentioned the name Carlos total who has achievements as a leading tennis player even though he is only 19 years old.

However, the presence of young tennis players is considered by Ivanisevic not to fade Djokovic's enthusiasm to appear more virulent. The proof, the Serbian is still a tennis player who is hungry for the title and ready to continue the struggle in the advanced tournament.

"They all talk about, yes, young players are coming. It's good for tennis. You have the world's number one youngest player to make amazing things this year, there's Carlos (Alcatraz)," he explained.

"But look at Novak (Djokovic). He's still hungry, he still won the tournament. He played incredible tennis and is still thinking about preparing for next season," said Ivanisevic.
