JAKARTA - The All-Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) claimed to have sent a letter to the International Football Federation (FIFA) regarding the plan to accelerate the Extraordinary Congress (KLB).

Although the letter was sent on October 31, PSSI Secretary General Yunus Nusi said FIFA had not yet given an answer until now.

"There is no (retaliatory) yet," said Yunus Nusi when contacted by VOI on Tuesday, October 8 at noon.

The decision to send a letter to FIFA was carried out by PSSI after holding a meeting with members of the PSSI Executive Committee (Exco). The results of the meeting were agreed that the KLB must be accelerated.

This was done with the hope that stakeholders could immediately grant permission for Liga 1 2022/2023 to roll back. The KLB must be implemented because of recommendations from the Independent Fact Finding Joint Team (TGIPF).

"We are still waiting (FIFA retaliation). We have responded and please convey it as soon as possible," hoped Yunus Nusi.

PSSI hopes to get good news soon from FIFA. Because, if permission is granted, the KLB can be implemented as a form that PSSI meets the needs of members.

PSSI itself targets to hold an Ordinary Congress on January 7 to determine the Election Committee (KP) or the Electoral Appeal Committee (KBP).
