Recovered From Injury, Persija Young Goalkeeper Cahya Supriadi Follows The U-20 Jali TC Indonesian National Team In Turkey

JAKARTA - The young goalkeeper belonging to Persija Jakarta is confirmed to be close to the training camp (TC) of the U-20 Indonesian national team in Turkey.

This was confirmed directly by Persija Jakarta on Monday, October 24. Through uploads on his official account, the Kemayoran Tigers confirmed that Cahya would join colleagues in the national team in the near future.

"The young goalkeeper who is proud of Persija Jakarta, Cahya Supriadi, is planned to follow the Indonesian U-20 national team which is currently conducting Training Camp (TC) in Turkey, Antalya since last October 16," Persija wrote on Twitter.

Cahya Supriadi is actually included in the list of 34 U-20 national team players for TC in Turkey. However, until the Garuda Nusantara squad arrived on October 15, Cahya had not yet joined.

This situation was because Cahya had to rest due to injury while competing in the 2023 U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers. When facing Hong Kong, last September 16, Cahya was pulled out due to an injury to the chest.

However, on Friday, October 21, the 19-year-old goalkeeper was known to have attended Persija's training session after being declared cured of injury. Cahya's certainty of recovering from injury is good news for the U-20 Indonesian national team who will undergo a series of trials in Antalya, Turkey.

"Alhamdulillah, I will follow other friends to Turkey. There must be a little behind because the others have started to get faster. But I should be grateful because I still have the trust to rejoin the national team," said Cahya.
