Dorna Sports Gives Input To The Local MotoGP Mandalika Committee:bancangkan Tempat Pesawat

JAKARTA - Dorna Sports CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta and his team visited Jakarta. He met the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir.

On this occasion, Dorna gave input to the local committee in preparing for the 2023 Mandalika MotoGP. The hope is that the Mandalika MotoGP can be better than before.

"Dorna is happy with the development at the Mandalika Circuit. However, in order to be truly perfect, Dorna suggested that there are far more inns," said Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) President Director Priandhi Satria, as reported by Antara.

Reflecting on the first edition, the number of lodging is still far from sufficient. "This year, almost 7,500 visas have entered. The availability of five-star hotels has not yet reached thousands. For Dorna's needs alone, it has run out," said Priandhi,

"In 2023, Dorna recommends an increase in the number for hotels, inns, and villas," he continued.

Regarding the number of ideals, it depends on the market. "For example, VVIP is almost 5 thousand seats, if those who come are couples, it means that almost 2,500 rooms are needed. That is only for royal and Deluxe spectators," said Priandhi.

"The number available in the Mandalika area is only hundreds and maybe up to thousands to Mataram. The need is still far away," he continued.

Previously, SOE Minister Erick Thohir stated that Indonesia was increasingly ready to hold the 2023 MotoGP race. He convinced Dorna that the MotoGP event at the Mandalika Circuit next year would be much better than before.
