Real SociedadZEs Victory For Supporters Who Die Before The Mallorca Contrast Match Starts: We Are Sad

JAKARTA - Real Sociedad won 1-0 over Real Mallorca in the La Liga Spanish continued match. This victory is dedicated to one of their supporters who died in the stadium before the match took place.

Quoted from ESPN, the match week 10 was postponed for 15 minutes. The reason is because a Sociedad fan at the stadium suddenly fell ill.

Emergency and health personnel were immediately called in to help fans in the stands. Personnel provided first aid before bringing the supporter to the hospital.

The fan was eventually declared dead.

Some Spanish media reported that the fan was 75 years old and a member of the Sociedad club. Although the cause of death was not immediately revealed, clubs and players dedicated the day's victory to the fan and his family.

"We are saddened by the death of Txuri Urdin club members who were evacuated before the start of today's match. Today's victory is for you," Sociedad wrote on his social media account as quoted by ESPN.

Mikel Merino, who is Sociedad's sole goalscorer, also has sympathy. He even also dedicated his goal to the deceased.

"This victory is for him and his family," he said.
