This Season's Honda RC213V Characteristics Makes Marc Marquez Confused

JAKARTA - Repsol Honda racer, Marc Marquez, appeared so impressive after returning after a long absence. In the last two races, he has finished in the top five.

However, Marquez is still surprised by his riding character, Honda RC213V. He could not really understand the characteristics of the iron horse.

"This 2022 Honda is a motorbike that makes me a little confused," Marquez said on Phillip Island, Thursday.

"Sometimes I thought it would be very difficult and then somehow we raced better," he continued.

Furthermore, Marquez will try his luck at the Phillip Island Circuit which is the Australian MotoGP venue. Here, two have won three times, including the last series in 2019 before it was crowded in 2020 and 2021, canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite having positive score in Australi, Marquez predicts Honda will find difficulties again this weekend.

"But on the other hand, this is my favorite track. We will start with a positive mentality and then over the weekend we will see where we are," he said.

Upon his return from the operation, Marquez has tested and used a number of upgrades from Honda including the Alexander Kalex swingarm on the two days of Misano's test.

The Spaniard is likely to test Honda's new components on Phillip Island when he and his team set a target to return to the top of next season.
