KONI Center For Guidelines For The Implementation Of National Sports Competitions

JAKARTA - The Central Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) has compiled guidelines for organizing and participating in national sports competitions.

Quoted from Antara, Thursday, the Central KONI has carried out a series of activities in the preparation of these guidelines, such as discussion forums (FGD), some time ago.

The goal is that every competition that runs smoothly and in accordance with regulations from international federations.

"The incident in Malang (Kanjuruhan tragedy) opens up opportunities for all of us to make guidelines that will be used as a reference for organizing sports activities," said Chairman of the Central KONI Marciano Norman.

In the FGD recently, the Central KONI presented a resource person, namely the Deputy Chairperson I of the Central KONI who is also a member of the Independent Fact Findings Team (TGIPF) of the Kanjuruhan Tragedy, Suwarno.

In addition, there is also the Dean of the Faculty of Sports, Jakarta State University (UNJ) Johansyah Lubis and UNJ Lecturer Eko Juli Fitrianto.

"KONI Pusat selalu jadi narasumber cabang-cabang olahraga, kami harus bisa memberikan pedoman kepada anggota KONI. On the same occasion, Suwarno said the guidelines were important to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the competition.

On the other hand, those who carry out implementation surveillance must understand the sport they are competing in.

The guidelines produced later are technical instructions for surveillance monitoring actors. In the future, it is hoped that guidelines will be prepared for the organizers.
