JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team's victory over Curacao has many positive impacts. The two victories not only improved the mentality of the players.

The 3-2 and 2-1 victory achieved by the Indonesian national team also boosted Indonesia's position in the FIFA rankings. The Garuda squad will move through four other countries.

The Indonesian national team is believed to be ranked 151 after collecting 14.82 additional points. With that number, Indonesia, which previously had 1019.19 points, increased to 1034.1.

This achievement also made the Indonesian national team able to move four other countries, namely the Dominican Republic (1,031 points), Andorra (1,028 points), Yemen (1,023 points) and Afghanistan (1,023 points).

Meanwhile, the two defeats received by the Curacao national team in the FIFA Matchday agenda actually made them want to drop to 86 FIFA rankings.

As is known, the Indonesian national team fought Curacao twice on FIFA Match Day. In the first match which took place at the Bandung Stadium, Sea of Fire (GBLA), Surabaya on September 24, Shin Tae-yong's team won 3-2.

Three days later, the meeting between the two teams occurred again. This second match took place at Pakansari Stadium, Bogor on September 27, which was won again by the Garuda Squad with a score of 2-1

The two Indonesian national team's winning goals in the second match were scored by Dimas Prajad in the 2nd minute in the first half. While the second goal was scored by Dendy Sulistyawan before the end of the match.

The name Dimas Darajat also became the determinant of the victory in the first match when Indonesia won 3-2 in Surabaya.
