Claiming To Be Very Comfortable Playing Together Neymar, Messi: We Know Each Other

JAKARTA Lionel Messi praised his team-mate Neymar and admitted that he was always comfortable playing with the Brazilian star regularly at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Messi and Neymar played a big role for Les Parisiens at the opening of the season. La Pulga has scored six goals and eight assists, while Neymar scored the same number of assists and scored 11 goals.

"With Neymar, we know each other. We had fun together at Barcelona and then lived to bring us back to Paris," Messi said.

The two South American superstars reunited last year when Messi left Camp Nou for PSG on a free transfer after his contract with Barcelona was not renewed.

They previously spent five years together in the Blaugrana uniform. Neymar then moved first after selling Barcelona to the Paris giants for a world transfer record worth 222 million euros in 2017.

While at Barcelona, Messi and Neymar formed an extraordinary partnership with Luis Suarez. All three grew into one of the most frightening striker trio in the world.

Trio, then known as the initials 'MSN', succeeded in helping the Catalan giants win the title of one European Champions League title and two Spanish La Liga trophies.

"I love playing with him, chatting with him every day!" added the Argentine international who has seven Ballon d'Or collections.

Their brilliant performance earlier this season had succeeded in making PSG lead the French Ligue 1 standings with a collection of 22 points from eight matches. They have won seven times and drawn once.

Messi and Neymar shared their contribution with their co-worker Kylian Mbappe who also performed impressively. The French striker has scored 10 goals in nine appearances this season.
